Well karaoke was a hit. A bunch of us went to the Gaslight karaoke bar in Santa Monica the other night. Brooke, my brother Chad, Susan, Peter, Cat, me, and of course Trey. I can attest to the fact that Trey’s performance was not alcohol induced whatsoever. Take a look at the results:

So I have officially started the new job at edmunds.com. I've now enjoyed (sarcasm) two days of setup, meetings, benefits, and explainations. I'm almost ready to start working.

As for Symantec, I still play basketball with some of the guys from work. (including my old boss) It was a fun night. I got elbowed in the jaw, shouldered in the jaw, took a knee to the forearm, and got a palm-punch to the nose. All-in-all, I'd say that Symantec employees don't hold a grudge at all.

For those of you that do not know me, I am joking and all of those things were purely accidental.

Hey everyone!! I know it's been a long time since I have posted anything. Well, Shawn and I got back from MI last night and we had a great time at our friend Vicki's wedding. I also went to Chicago for the day to visit my brother and his girlfriend, the drive home was bad!! We got our share of snow while we were home, that's for sure. Shawn got to hang out with his brother Chad and cousin Josh. We were once again bummed that Rob Bell was not the speaker at church. Every time we come home he is gone!! he must not like us :)

Well, an update on CA, our jobs are going well, I had a wonderful birthday and I am now an older 23 years old. :)I got flowers at work from Shawn and my mom. Shawn took me out to a really nice restuarant on the Pacific Ocean, you can't get much better than that. It was nice also because we had a tradition of going to the Piper on my birthday so it was a reminder of home. Our apt is still great as well as our car, its running well. The weather is always in the high 60's so its always pleasant!!!. Our Small group is going well and we love our church. Right now I am taking a class every saturday for two more weeks. Its some extra training for work and I get certification for it, if I pass :).

FYI to anyone that wants to come out and visit let us know when :) My mom is gracing our presence on April 21-25 so sorry to disapoint but we are offically booked that weekend :). well everyone we miss you and love you. post a reply and we will write back. ~Brooke

Hey Ya'll!!! well working at a high end restaurant really pays off :) I have seen BOB sagget(spelling??) I mean Danny Tanner from Full House, only the best show from my childhood and then this past week I talked to and lead Tory Spelling ( from 90201 if you dont know) to her seat with her guests. CRAZY!! The funniest part about it is that I didnt even know it was her, hahaha. Anyways, I do have some great new, I got a social work job!!! I have accepted a job at the Jewish Home for the Aging. I will pretty much have my own building and work with the residents, their families, and the nurses in the building. The funny thing is that I also had another interview today at St. Anns Maternity Home. We will see how that turns out. Unfortunatly, they are both about an half an hour away from here. So the beetle will be getting used :)

Shawn and I have been enjoying our time out here especially all the people that go to our church. we continually are meeting new people!! and our small group just keeps growing and growing. This last weekend we went to a birthday party for Jaelin. She is a little girl of a couple in our small group, she is so cute and she just turned 1!! (postings of the pictures later)

Hey everyone!!! Life is going well. We Finally bought a new car!!! We bought a 99 beetle GLS which is a dark blueish purplish color. It is so cute!!. The church we have been attending has been great and very welcoming. The small group that we go to that is attached to the church has also been welcoming and we both feel very comfortable there. If anyone wants to come for vacation just let us know :) will write later... love you all!!
