Hey everyone!!! Life is going well. We Finally bought a new car!!! We bought a 99 beetle GLS which is a dark blueish purplish color. It is so cute!!. The church we have been attending has been great and very welcoming. The small group that we go to that is attached to the church has also been welcoming and we both feel very comfortable there. If anyone wants to come for vacation just let us know :) will write later... love you all!!

    It's so nice to hear from you and that all is going well. The purple beetle sounds really cute.

    Things are busy with our family these days. Getting prepared for Mel & Ryan's wedding, Danielle moving to her dorm today and school starting for her and Josh on Monday.

    Jeff is doing well at his job and I'm settling in on my new job too.

    How is your job going, Shawn? So happy to hear about your finding a great church and small group.

    Brooke, are you finding stuff to do? Any work opportunities yet?

    hey you both!!! yeah i have a job now i am just hostessing at a restuarant here. the resturant is in the same building as shawns work so we both get to walk to work. i just work part time right now so i am able to go to any interview that may come up :) i wish i had more but oh well.

    I was in MI this past weekend but I was there for a funeral and I came right back to CA. There wouldnt have been any time for visiting.

    Yeah the church we are going to is really awesome. We actually asked mars hill about a church out here that would be more like them and this is the church that they suggested. Shawn contacted the host for one of the small groups and he has been picking shawn and I up for church because we didnt have car. It has been great to actually meet people here.

    hey hope that someday before we move back you can come visit us out here... maybe after the stress of the wedding :) i cant believe they are getting married in mexico!! I have been to Puerto Vallarta before, its beautiful. Actually after the inlaws come out the day they fly back to MI shawn and i have to fly to Florida for a destination wedding also. shawn is actually in that wedding. hey would could probably fly to Puerto Vallart cheaper than MI :) hahaha anyways... hope all is well. hope u are checking the postings on here talk to you later brooke and shawn
